<p><strong>Purpose of Job</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The main responsibility of the senior laboratory associate is to provide technical assistance to the sample transport network. S/he will also be expected to perform selected administrative and at the state.</li>
<li>Hierarchically, The Senior Laboratory Associate reports to Cluster Laboratory Advisor</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide support and technical assistance to sample transport network to ensure prompt transportation of samples, redistribution of samples where necessary and timely retrieval of results.</li>
<li>Provide technical oversight to GeneXpert laboratories to facilitate quick resolution of faulty Xpert machines through prompt escalations of faults, collection of mandatory documents and performing minor troubleshooting with Cepheid guidance.</li>
<li>Provide Technical oversight to Truenat laboratories to ensure uninterrupted testing, regular supply of reagents ad other consumables as well as timely reporting of data</li>
<li>Interface with lab focal persons and data entry clerk to facilitate timely processing of samples, retrieval of all results and timely upload unto Commcare device to improve and sustain high evaluation rate across testing facilities.</li>
<li>Collate and validate weekly and monthly data reports from Xpert labs for routine performance evaluation of the project.</li>
<li>Conduct routine surveillance of GXAlert functionality and data upload for all Xpert and Truenat machines in the state and report gaps to the GXAlert focal person for immediate resolution.</li>
<li>Supervise Xpert optimization related jobs (eg A/C repairs, inverter and battery replacement, etc.) to ensure timely execution of quality jobs.</li>
<li>Any other duties that may be assigned by the cluster Lab advisor.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Medical Laboratory or any other laboratory-related discipline or any other related field.</li>
<li>At least 2-4 years of experience in public health projects.</li>
<li>Experience in working in the fields of TB/HIV, community TB, and MDR TB, with extensive field experience in Nigeria.</li>
<li>Experience in managing a team.</li>
<li>Experience in coordinating multiple party stakeholders.</li>
<li>Experience in wide scale community-based intervention.</li>
<li>Experience in community mobilization efforts.</li>
<li>Experience managing complex health data.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>

<li>We are seeking passionate, detail-oriented Transcribers to join our team and provide routine support to research activities under the guidance of the Strategic Research and Learning Unit.</li>
<li>This role is offered on a consultancy, as-needed basis and does not constitute full-time or permanent employment.</li>

<p>Accurate Transcription:</p>

<li>Convert audio or video recordings into written text word-for-word or in a clean, readable format.</li>
<li>Capture dialogue, pauses, and non-verbal cues when required (e.g., laughter, inaudible sections).</li>

<p>Maintaining Grammar and Formatting Standards:</p>

<li>Apply correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.</li>
<li>Follow specific formatting styles provided.</li>
</ul>
<p>Editing and Proofreading:</p>
<ul>
<li>Review transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.</li>
<li>Correct errors before final submission</li>
</ul>
<p>Time Management:</p>
<ul>
<li>Meet deadlines and manage multiple transcription tasks efficiently.</li>
<li>Track times stamps if required.</li>
</ul>
<p>Confidentiality and Data Privacy:</p>
<ul>
<li>Handle sensitive or private information responsibly.</li>
<li>Adhere to MSI’s data privacy policy.</li>
</ul>
<p>Using Transcription Tools:</p>
<ul>
<li>Operate transcription software, or speech recognition tools.</li>
<li>Adhere to confidentiality agreements and data protection policies.</li>

<p><strong>Key Experience and Qualification</strong></p>

<li>First Degree in an or equivalent in any discipline is essential.</li>
<li>Previous experience in transcribing audio recordings is essential.</li>
<li>Speaks, reads, and writes fluently in English, Hausa or local dialect required.</li>

<p><strong>Purpose of the Job</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The post -holder will assist the Head of Transport in the smooth operation of the Transport Office by compiling and maintaining documentation and managing information.</li>
<li>Ensuring drivers depart on time, processing vital information, issuing journey details and ensuring that all government regulatory fleet requirements are met to ensure the efficient delivery of vehicles to a high standard of service.</li>
<li>S/he will be a point of reference and will provide advice on all transport costs with regard to vehicle enquiries.</li>
<li>The post-holder is directly responsible for coordinating transport activities to ensure that transport is available when needed.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br />
Communication:</p>
<ul>
<li>Debrief the Drivers on both departure and return from each journey.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate via telephone and Emails to transport requesters, ensuring incoming calls and Emails are answered and dealt with promptly.</li>
<li>Maintain contact with Project’s Administrators and provide advice on the availability of suitable vehicles.</li>
<li>Communicate with Suppliers and Finance on fuel levels.</li>
</ul>
<p>Team Work:</p>
<ul>
<li>Assist the management team to provide a professional service.</li>
<li>Work well within the transport team function to ensure deadlines are met.</li>
<li>Work as part of a team, attending team meetings and contributing where appropriate.</li>
<li>Maintain good customer relations with both internal and external customers, e.g. the Garage, outside service providers.</li>
</ul>
<p>Administration &amp; Process:</p>
<ul>
<li>Management of the daily job allocation for the Unit’s operation.</li>
<li>Work with the driving team to ensure that excellent service is maintained at all times.</li>
<li>Update the Transport Database with regular checks to ensure recording systems remain up to date with regards to vehicle locations.</li>
<li>Ensure that fleet service schedules are maintained and vehicles are made available to the Garage team clean and on time.</li>
<li>General administrative duties like producing Reports<strong>, </strong>such as missing fuel, fleet usage and weekly fuel usage</li>
<li>Support the administration of daily airport pick-up operations</li>
<li>Conduct annual Performance Appraisal for Personnel under his/her direct supervision.</li>
</ul>
<p>Decision Making Authority:</p>
<ul>
<li>Understand and embrace the concept of ‘empowerment’ and be willing to make decisions without referral that fall within agreed parameters and accountabilities.</li>
<li>Agree any change to processes that enhances performance.</li>
<li>Delegated financial authority to spend up to £500.</li>
<li>Report Writing.</li>
</ul>
<p>Any other duties:</p>

<li>To perform any other duties consistent with the remit of the post.</li>

<p><strong>Relationships</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The post-holder will be a full-time member of the MRCG at LSHTM.</li>
<li>The post-holder will report to Mr. Apollo Twijukye, Head of Transport and Logistics.</li>
<li>The Unit Director and Theme Leader for the Disease Control &amp; Elimination Theme is Professor Umberto D’Alessandro.</li>
<li>The Chief Operations Officer is Dr Davis Nwakanma.</li>
</ul>
<p>Appraisals:</p>

<li>Appraisals are held at least annually.</li>
</ul>
<p>Accountability:</p>
<ul>
<li>The post-holder will be accountable to the Head of Transport.</li>

<p>Length of appointment:</p>

<li>The appointment is up to 31st March 2027 and is subject to a probationary period of six months.</li>

<li>Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Technical Specialist to join our team in Abuja, Nigeria</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Job purpose</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The primary roles of the Technical Specialist (TS) would cover strategic technical support, capacity development, evidence and knowledge development and dissemination, and technical representation.</li>
<li>S/he would work with the Programme Director (PD) and team in providing technical guidance in the direct implementation of SMC activities, covering macro and microplanning, training, logistic system, social behavioral change communication, SPAQ distribution, quality assurance (QA) and supportive supervision at the state, LGA, health facility and community levels as per the agreed performance framework targets.</li>
<li>The TS would lead in ensuring Malaria Consortium’s strategic objectives and targets and contributions to Nigeria malaria targets are realized.</li>
<li>He/She would also lead in the review of Malaria Consortium routine ITN, SMC and other chemoprevention strategies implemented in the project and continuously provide technical appraisal and how these can achieve increasing effectiveness/cost effectiveness.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Scope of work</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Using an integrated, coordinated, system strengthening and resilience enhancing approach, the TS provides strategic technical and programmatic support to ensure that project interventions is implemented according to the national guideline and global best practices.</li>
<li>The Technical Specialist (TS) will provide additional technical support working closely with the Country Technical Coordinator (CTC), to the technical team at the country office level with specific attention to follow-up on ToRs, concept notes, engagement of technical assistance (TA), TA and programme reports, tracking/follow up on technical quality of state level activities through interphase with the STOs.</li>
<li>S/he would also be involved in representation of the programme during meeting with PRs and other stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
<p>Key working relationships:</p>
<ul>
<li>The Technical Specialist will work under the line-management of the Programme Director with dotted line management of the SCTC and in close collaboration with the colleagues in the country office, dotted line relationship to the State Technical Officers, other GF SRs, partners and stakeholders would deliver aspects of the programme as per the specified job tasks and expected deliverables.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key accountabilities</strong><br />
Technical contributions (70%):</p>
<ul>
<li>Support the development of technical workplans and provide quarterly project performance updates.</li>
<li>Support states to ensure that rollout of programme service delivery activities meet international standard of quality;</li>
<li>Initiate/follow-up on approval of ToRs for all activities to be carried out at the national, state, LGA, health facility and community level;</li>
<li>Work in liaison with country office team to closely monitor delivery of ToRs; obtain reports in a timely manner and ensure the proper sign-off of all submitted reports;</li>
<li>Provide technical support, including building their capabilities, to the state teams in the planning and implementation of all programme activities including malaria prevention (routine ITNs distribution &amp; IPTp), case management (diagnosis and treatment), quality of care (QoC), integrated community case management (iCCM/CHIPS);</li>
<li>Ensure the GF project’s adherence to technical quality assurance processes for MC in programme planning and implementation.</li>
<li>Document innovation and best practices that are related to the programme.</li>
<li>Represent MC on malaria Technical Working Groups (TWGs) and other relevant health coordinating committees at national level as designated.</li>
</ul>
<p>Project Management (20%):</p>
<ul>
<li>Support collation, review, and submission of routine project service delivery activity reports to Programme Director.</li>
<li>Support Project Director to follow up Country Office review feedbacks on reports and other project documents.</li>
<li>Contribute to preparation of the quarterly Progress Update and Disbursement Request (PUDR) to the donor.</li>
<li>Contribute to quarterly lessons identification and learning, documentation and dissemination</li>
<li>Contribute to project transition strategy and ensure inclusion of relevant activities to promote sustainability within the workplan and smooth transition of the programme to government;</li>
<li>Be part of the Malaria Consortium learning &amp; development (L&amp;D) and quality assurance groups.</li>

<p>Representations (10%):</p>

<li>Represent MC on malaria Case Management Subcommittee, SMC Expert Group and other relevant health coordinating committees at national level as may be delegated;</li>

Qualifications and experience:<br />
Essential:</p>
<ul>
<li>A Degree in Medicine plus a Master’s in Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology or another relevant specialty with at least ten years work experience, is a minimum requirement;</li>
<li>Previous experience working at national level with oversight for at least 3 states</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience working with national programmes and engaging with stakeholders at that level.</li>
<li>Significant experience of working in developing countries and experience with GF or GAVI funded programmes would be an added advantage;</li>

<ul>
<li>IMA World Health, a member of Corus International, is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration to lead an anticipated 5-year $8.3 million CDC-funded project titled Strengthen national and sub-national capacities to implement the International Health Regulations through local partners in Nigeria.</li>
<li>The program&#8217;s goal is to strengthen International Health Regulations (IHR) (2005) capacities of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC); other Government of Nigeria ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) relevant to the implementation of multi-sectoral response efforts of the IHR; and sub-national public health institutions, such as State Ministries of Health and local government authorities.</li>
<li>The Director of Finance and Administration will manage all financial aspects of the project; supervise procurement, finance, human resources, and administrative staff; and ensure cost-conscious, efficient spending and compliance with all IMA World Health and CDC regulations, including financial reporting requirements.</li>
<li>S/he will manage financial reporting, annual budgeting, compliance, team supervision, cash management, and audit preparation, and award reporting.</li>

<p><strong>About the Job</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>IMA World Health is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Director to lead an anticipated 5-year $8.3 million CDC-funded project titled Strengthen national and sub-national capacities to implement the International Health Regulations through local partners in Nigeria.</li>
<li>The program&#8217;s goal is to strengthen International Health Regulations (IHR) (2005) capacities of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC); other Government of Nigeria ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) relevant to the implementation of multi-sectoral response efforts of the IHR; and sub-national public health institutions, such as State Ministries of Health and local government authorities.</li>
<li>In coordination with the Program Director and under the supervision of Corus International&#8217;s Director of Technical Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning Services, the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Director will lead overall management and technical oversight of the MEL efforts for the project.</li>
<li>S/he shall develop MEL systems that include appropriate indicators, baseline data, targets, and a plan to evaluate performance and produce timely, accurate and complete reporting.</li>
<li>The MEL Director is responsible for project monitoring, conducting data analysis and interpretation of project data, and documenting and disseminating lessons learned and best practices. This position reports directly to the Program Director.</li>
<li>The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Director will be based in Nigeria. Actual hiring is contingent upon successful agreement award and CDC approval.</li>

<p><strong>Duties</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with the Program Director and partners in management of the MEL components, ensuring strategic planning of activities is informed by project and relevant government data sets.</li>
<li>Lead the design and implementation of all monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, including the development of the project&#8217;s performance monitoring plan; development and monitoring of project indicators; implementation of project evaluation; quality assurance and auditing of data.</li>
<li>Conducts analyses and contributes to the preparation of mandatory and ad hoc project reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, end-of-project) by capturing performance results and ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into project implementation to continuously improve the quality of interventions and results.</li>
<li>Design and implement mechanisms for continuous collaboration, learning, and adapting for project staff, partners, donors, host country government counterparts, and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Oversee a team of monitoring, evaluation, and learning staff for the project and ensure clear roles and responsibilities and lines of communication are maintained amongst the team members.</li>
<li>Ensure that lessons learned are integrated into project implementation to continuously improve quality of interventions and outcomes.</li>
<li>Lead the design and implementation of operations research.</li>

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>

<li>An Advanced Degree in Research methods, Statistics, Biostatistics, Quantitative / Qualitative Data Analysis, Public Health, Social / Behavioral Sciences, or other relevant medical or health discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum of 7 years of experience leading MEL efforts on CDC or other international donor-funded health projects, with substantial experience collecting, managing, analyzing and reporting on data expected.</li>
<li>Extensive training on infectious disease prevention and mitigation is an asset.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience managing M&amp;E systems, consistent with CDC protocols for data collection and reporting.</li>
<li>Experience in managing DHIS2 and other databases, proficiency in IT tools and MS Office Suite.</li>
<li>Proven capabilities in data and surveillance, diagnostics and/or public health workforce.</li>
<li>Experience leading performance management and data utilization for quality improvement approaches across partners and technical focus areas to yield successful collaboration and integration.</li>
<li>Strong quantitative, qualitative, and analytical skills, and ability to present technical information clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.</li>
<li>Familiarity with USG administrative, management and reporting procedures and systems.</li>

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Faith and cultural leader mobilization plans and reports.</li>
<li>Documentation of community outreach and dialogue sessions.</li>
<li>Monthly mobilization data and activity summaries.</li>

<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support in the implementing activities including capacity assessments, identification of major gaps in capacity of systems and to develop capacity of stakeholders through appropriate training and systems strengthening activities.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the project’s technical expert for capacity building initiatives</li>
<li>Lead collaboration and engagement with internal and external stakeholders together with the LCS/workforce development manager in the development/review/updating of national training modules for community health workers</li>
<li>Lead the planning and roll out of all project’s training activity under the supervision of the LCS/workforce development manager</li>
<li>Ensure project’s capacity building initiatives are aligned with global best practices using standard training curriculum and efficient training methodologies.</li>
<li>Lead the planning and implementation of continuous capacity development efforts through quality supportive supervision of CHWs as well as CHW supervisors</li>
<li>Lead the development and implementation of the project’s Continuous Capacity Quality Improvement.</li>
<li>Together with the LCS/workforce development manager and other project heads, support in the development of strategies to be included and implemented in annual work plans.</li>
<li>Provide support to state and LGA level stakeholders improving their capacity to provide quality supervision of CHWs, contributing to improving their capacity to provide quality services.</li>
<li>Lead the monitoring, evaluation, and outcome/impact of the project’s capacity building initiatives through analysis of project’s data.</li>
<li>Maintain a database of all participants trained by the project across all areas (service delivery, M&amp;E, entrepreneurship, etc.) and support states to use training databases for data-informed planning and decision making at federal and state levels.</li>
<li>Together with the LCS/workforce development manager, represent MSH in relevant platforms including TWGs, providing technical expertise to improve program outcomes at all levels.</li>
<li>Support engagement with high-level stakeholders at the N/SPHCDA, F/SMOH, CHPRBN, ALGON/LGC/LGHA, and other relevant stakeholders including implementing partners and CSOs to strengthen collaboration and foster commitment for effective implementation of the project’s activities.</li>
<li>Support project reporting including documentation of success stories and development of technical briefs together with other program unit heads, ensuring compliance with donor and MSH requirements.</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, International Development, or a related field.</li>
<li>Technical knowledge of Community health workers program with competence in coordinating and facilitating capacity building sessions for health workers</li>
<li>Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in the technical areas above especially within public health development and/or humanitarian sector</li>
<li>Being a master trainer on iCCM is an added advantage</li>
<li>Strong stakeholder management skills.</li>
<li>Strong communication and coordination skills.</li>
<li>Experience with report writing and documentation of key learnings.</li>
<li>At least 5 years’ experience working in donor funded projects implemented by local and international NGOs with a strong understanding of donor trends, languages, audiences, and requirements.</li>
<li>Excellent English writing and communication skills</li>
<li>Strong analytic, strategic thinking, problem solving, and planning skills</li>
<li>Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)</li>
<li>Excellent skills in leading teams with diverse and multidisciplinary backgrounds</li>
