Job Title: Accountant
Location:Â Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Company Accountant to oversee and manage our company’s financial affairs.
- The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical accounting skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the company’s financial accounting, reporting, and compliance functions
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management and the board of directors
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards
- Lead and manage a team of accounting staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of corporate accounting experience
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ICAN)
- Up-to-date membership with a recognized professional accounting body
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of financial reporting standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
