Job Title: Business Development and Partnership Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

The Job Summary

  • The Business Development and Partnership Manager at PCM Business Academy will play a pivotal role in driving the academy’s growth by identifying opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and contributing to revenue generation.
  • This role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills to achieve business objectives and expand the academy’s market presence.
  • The Business Development and Partnership Manager at PCM Business Academy is responsible for driving business growth and establishing strategic partnerships to expand the reach and impact of the academy’s programs and services.
  • This role requires a combination of sales, marketing, and relationship-building skills to identify and secure new business opportunities and forge mutually beneficial partnerships.

Main Responsibility

  • Research and identify potential market segments, niches, and industries for academy offerings to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by active prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for innovation.

Partnership Building::

  • Identify, assess, and engage potential partners, including educational institutions, industry associations, corporations, and industry stakeholders. etc.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts to maximize mutual benefits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of partnership initiatives.
  • Research and evaluate potential partnership opportunities to align with PCM Academy goals and target audience.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint academic initiatives, events, and programs.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities for PCM Academy and refine target markets.
  • Develop and adapt business development strategies based on professional courses, trends, and insights.

Collaborative Approach:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team, content development, and operations teams to ensure alignment of goals and initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of Academy campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (relevant certifications with a Master’s Degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or sales roles preferably in the education, L and D or training industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach to achieving growth targets.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills for effectively communicating value propositions.
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends, competition, and business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding the education industry or professional training programs is advantageous.
