Alaba Shonibare & Co is a privately held real estate development and management firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. Established in 1990, the company has a rich history rooted in the development of Shonibare Estate, one of Nigeria’s earliest private housing estates, founded by Chief S. O. Shonibare over 60 years ago.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • To lead the corporate/physical security function for an estate, including responsibility for its office, and other development projects.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Advises management on security implications and requirements.
  • Implements measures to ensure adequate security of employees, tenants, and assets at the estate, office and development sites.
  • Provides insights on prevention of security matters (e.g. theft and fraud prevention, physical privacy).
  • Oversees incidence response planning as well as investigating security breaches.
  • Ensures the dissemination of information concerning security policies and approved procedures on asset protection, theft prevention, violence prevention, access control systems etc. on a regular basis.
  • Allocates security officers to various posts, shifts and locations and determines the scope of work to be done as well as the timelines.
  • Prepares reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage and other issues escalated by the security officers and presents them to the Management.
  • Supervise, train periodically, and manage security personnel as well as HSE guidelines.

Salary
N100,000 – N103,000 Monthly.
