We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chinese Translator / Front Desk Officer

Location: Katampe, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • We at Sinoma Nigeria Company Ltd are looking to recruit a Smart Chinese translator/Interpreter to interpret oral, written, and audio pieces from Chinese language to English language, vice-versa making sure to maintain their original meaning, format and tone.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret oral, audio, and written pieces from Chinese to English
  • Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
  • Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g., font and structure)
  • Greet and welcome guests
  • Answer questions and address complaints
  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
  • Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
  • 3 – 10 years work experience.
  • HSK (Chinese Proficiency Certificate Examination)
  • Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
  • Fluency in Chinese and English languages
  • Familiarity with translation software and basic technical terms
  • Time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g., fax, printer etc.)
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word).

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
