We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture parts and products with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including loading programs, setting tooling, and adjusting parameters.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to ensure accurate production.
  • Monitor machine performance, detecting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct quality control checks, ensuring parts meet specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and other operators to optimize production processes.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machines and replacing worn tools.
  • Meet production targets, working efficiently to achieve desired output and quality.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including milling, turning, and grinding.
  • Understanding of G-code and M-code programming languages.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or certificate in CNC machining preferred.
  • Completion of CNC training programs or apprenticeships.
