We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Commercial Teacher

Location: Lekki-Epe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

  • The Commercial Teacher will be responsible for teaching Commerce and related subjects, with a strong emphasis on Accounting.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of business principles.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Commerce and Accounting.
  • Prepare and assess student work, including assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Maintain accurate student records and provide timely feedback.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., NCE, PGDE) is preferred.
  • 2+ years proven experience teaching Commerce and Accounting at the secondary school level.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
