We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Director of Business Development, OS
Location:Â Lagos
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the overall mission and objectives of the company.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, providing insights that inform strategic decisionmaking.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities that diversify the company’s portfolio and increase revenue streams.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners and clients to ensure mutual benefit and alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop outreach campaigns that promote the company’s services, capabilities, and success stories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, providing recommendations for adaptation and growth.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategy management within the events or hospitality sectors.
- Proven track record in successfully leading business initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance market position.
- Leadership acumen, with experience in managing and developing teams toward achieving strategic goals.
- Proficiency in CRM software and business intelligence tools skills as well as focused and results driven.
