Job Title: Field Engineer – ISP / Telecom

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a proactive Field Engineer to carry out network installations, maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting for our ISP / telecommunications customers.
  • This role involves hands-on work with networking hardware and requires excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain networking equipment (routers, switches, modems, cabling) at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues on-site.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and equipment upgrades.
  • Use network diagnostic tools to identify and fix technical problems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Travel to customer locations as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (technical certification or related Degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in ISP or telecoms.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Physically able to lift and move networking equipment during installations.
