COBEF International Limited is a new-generation company which widely believes in manufacturing quality PVC Piping Systems, Servicing the building, Civil Engineering, Mining and Agricultural sectors. Products quality is assured through well-equipped laboratory, run by professionals. Products conform to various DIN 8062/3 Standards which are compatible with ISO 4422-1 & ISO 4421-2 Standards.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time|

Responsibilites

  • Reviewing the company’s financial statements to ensure they are accurate
  • Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances
  • Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations
  • Review daily reports of cash at hand and in bank.
  • Monthly bank reconciliation
  • Develop, manage and Review financial reports
  • Liaise with Internal audit on tax and other related matters
  • Ensure timely monthly remittances of PAYE and PENSION
  • Preparation of payroll and other related issues
  • Opening of form Q and LC’S as well as maintain proper update.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in Accounting.
  • M.Sc in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
  • ICAN Associate / Fellow
  • Minimum 10 years post ICAN qualification experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in SAGE 200
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounting principles and laws.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Ability to multitask and work according to set guidelines and priorities.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Full/updated knowledge of statutory requirements
  • Managerial skill
  • Excellent communication.
