Job Description

ANRML was incorporated in 2012 as part of African Industries Group’s plan to embark on Backward Integration for its Steel Production. ANRML started its foray into Mining with the acquisition of Mining Lease in Kaduna State. Subsequently ANRML has also acquired multiple Mining and Exploration licenses in various minerals in over 15 sites and exploration activities are being carried out.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fire Supervisor

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Adamawa, Benue, Gujeni Village, Kagarko LGA Kaduna – Kaduna, Kano, Kogi, Lagos, Nassarawa and Niger
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for a competent Fire Supervisor who understands the review, use, and asses inoperable fire protection equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance.

Job Summary

  • Muslim is strongly required for work balance.
  • Conducted on-the-job training for fire protection of personnel.
  • Designed and set up the fire protection program as well as the Safety protection.
  • Supervised.
  • Maintenance of fire protection systems and direct fire, rescue, and emergency response efforts as situations occurred.
  • Provided Security and fire protection.
  • Ensure that all firefighting equipment is ready to deal with any emergency occurring at the site.
  • Ensure that the workers working on the site are wearing the appropriate fireproof clothing.
  • Guides them to the necessary procedures and steps in the event of an emergency

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of his team and himself.
  • Use an adequate fire-fighting system.
  • Making awareness of fire-related issues.
  • Campaign about fire and the risk of it.
  • Periodic inspection of fire fighting equipment and its effectiveness.
  • Train enough fire marshals.
  • Arrange fire drills occasionally.
  • Ensure emergency exits are efficient and free of obstacles.
  • Assist in investigations of fire incidents.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification with 4 – 8 years work experience.
