We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fleet Officer

Location: Ewekoro, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Our company seek to onboarda fleet officer that will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the operations of a company’s fleet of vehicles, records and ensuring operational efficiency across the fleet throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Good maintenance of company’s vehicles and see to adequate adherence to safety precautions on the part of the drivers
  • Ensure that company’s vehicles are used in aresponsible and lawful manner, thereby reducing rate of depreciation
  • See to reduction incurred in the maintenance of company’s vehicle and improve revenue inflow.
  • Initiate and recommend strategic means of ensuring strict compliance to safety rule and regulation
  • Collaborate with Drivers and Auto Mechanics in theorganization to ensure operations run smoothly and our vehicles are maintained based on our organization’s standards.
  • Tasking and directing drivers, maintaining records of vehicle locations, and ensuring that vehicles are operated in a safe and responsible manner
  • Organizing, controlling, and directing the activities of a fleet of vehicles, vesselsand efficient utiliation of alloted fuel during journey.
  • Develop efficient driver schedules, register and license all vehicle under the company’s jurisdiction
  • Ensuring efficient movement of goods and personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations 
  • Facilitate and implement correctives actions and capacity building to manage entire fleet to achieve company’s objectives.

Qualification and Experience

  • B.Sc / HND in Logistics or any related course of study
  • 3-5 years of experience in the same role
  • Conversant with Fleet Management Applications
  • Excellent analytical skill and attentive to details
  • Good People Management especially unskilled employees
  • Applicant should reside at Ewekoro and its environs, Ogun State
