Rex Forestry Limited is a developing and operating globally high quality and cost competitive commercial forestry plantations prducing veneer, plywood and other timber products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Harvesting Supervisor

Location: Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
As a harvesting supervisor, he/she will plan and supervise all harvesting and transport activities to high forestry standards by
performing the following core duties:

  • Harvesting planning – planning the felling, extraction routes and transport routes for effective and smooth harvesting operations
  • Ensuring good maintenance culture of all harvesting machines.
  • Ensuring all utilizable timber is extracted and processed to minimize timber waste.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of breakdowns of harvesting machines and incidents.
  • Supervising a harvesting team comprising of chainsaw operators, heavy logging machinery operators, truck drivers and general workers
  • Mechanical skills – knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a High National Diploma with 2-3 years experience.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / Month.
