Job Title: Junior Resident

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

  • We are currently hiring a Junior Resident who will be an integral part of our medical team.
  • The Junior Resident will be responsible for providing medical care, assisting senior residents, and participating in various clinical and educational activities.

Responsibilities
Patient Care:

  • Conduct patient assessments and examinations under the supervision of senior residents and attending physicians.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.

Clinical Assistance:

  • Participate in medical procedures, surgeries, and other clinical interventions as directed by senior medical staff.
  • Collect and maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information and addressing concerns.
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.

Educational Activities:

  • Engage in ongoing medical education and training programs.
  • Participate in teaching activities for medical students and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the field and apply updated knowledge to patient care.

Administrative Duties:

  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
