We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Legal Officer
Location:Â Lagos
Job Description
- The Legal Officer shall be responsible for monitoring and/or advising on all legal matters, commercial contracts, and agreements as related to the company’s operations, ensuring compliance with the statutory and corporate governance practices and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws – LLB or relevant qualifications
- 5 years post-call experience .
- In-depth knowledge of legal documents and terminology.
- Skilled with MS Office.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Skills:
- Proven experience in research, analysis, and legal advisory on fundamental business matters
- Experience in contract drafting and negotiation as well as dispute resolution,
- Good understanding of general and specific company and commercial law in Nigeria
- Managing compliance with regulatory institutions and supporting business and official engagements
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
