Job Title: Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Plant Manager

Location: Nkwelle Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • We are looking for a LPG Plant Manager. The right candidate will handle and coordinate daily activity at the station, which may include handling customer complaints while ensuring the steady supply of petroleum product at all times, and effectively manage all aspect of the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Overseer the day-to-day operations as it relates to the Plant.
  • Ensure that there is adequate manpower at all pumps to provide satisfactory services to customers.
  • Establish professional relationships with vendors to ensure a steady and timely supply of product at all times
  • Oversee and track daily inventory level and stocking activities.
  • Ascertain the security of the entire facility by constantly monitoring the facility.
  • Maintain proper accounting of daily transactions generated as well as overall company’s financial record
  • Handle compliant or feedback from customers in a professional manner
  • Implement strategies in alignment with management instruction and approval.
  • Provide a clear sense of direction and focus to all staff
  • Monitor compliance to safety procedures and trigger instant corrective actions
  • Foster a cooperative and motivating spirit amongst staff
  • Initiate ideas and strategy that will grow the business

Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in Business Management or related field
  • Proven managerial experience
  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation)
  • Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory management
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to create accountability and lead by example
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
  • Ability to use accounting software for sales analysis and inventory reconciliation.
