We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Marketing Manager
- The Marketing function is central to the overall success of the school.
- The Marketing Manager is the brand custodian, responsible for building brand awareness and maintaining the school’s brand reputation.
- The role is responsible for developing and executing compelling marketing initiatives to reach, engage, and attract the target audience, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints, including marketing materials, communications, events, and digital platforms.
- Develop strategies to build and strengthen the school’s brand identity, positioning it as the most prestigious school in Nigeria.
- Manage agency relationships and collaborate on creative campaigns, advertising, media buying, events and PR.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute online and offline events, including open houses, workshops, conferences, and community engagement activities.
- Lead the digital marketing communications function, including website management, social media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and email marketing, to drive brand visibility and attract prospective students and parents.
- Oversee the creative development and production of communication materials.
- Provide insightful reports and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies and improve audience attraction efforts.
- Conduct thorough market research and audience analysis to identify and understand the target audience’s needs, preferences, and motivations.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a marketing role.
- Proven experience in brand development and marketing strategy.
- MBA or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Marketing experience in the educational sector or multinational organisation is desirable.
- Membership of a professional organisation e.g., NIMN, NIPR, CIM is desirable.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of branding, marketing principles, and integrated marketing communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and engage diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, including social media, search engine marketing, content marketing, and email marketing.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative ideas.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
