We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Massage Therapist

Location: Lagos
Reports to: Wellness Center Supervisor.

Job Description

  • This role is responsible for ensuring the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a consistent basis.
  • Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other specialized modalities, to address clients’ individual needs and preferences.
  • Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their medical history, physical condition, and specific concerns to tailor massage sessions accordingly.
  • Consult with clients before each session to discuss treatment goals, preferences, and any specific areas of concern.
  • Administer high-quality massage sessions while ensuring clients’ comfort and maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including session notes and client information.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, self-care practices, and exercises to promote overall wellness.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other wellness center professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Properly clean, maintain, and ensure the functionality of massage equipment and supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Result Area / Performance Goal

  • Maintain a CSAT score of at least 95%

Job Qualifications

  • University Degree or Higher Diploma in Social Sciences and Humanities
  • A minimum of 2 years post NYSC experience
  • Experience in customer services in the hospitality/healthcare industry is an added advantage
