We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Massage Therapist
Reports to: Wellness Center Supervisor.
- This role is responsible for ensuring the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a consistent basis.
- Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other specialized modalities, to address clients’ individual needs and preferences.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their medical history, physical condition, and specific concerns to tailor massage sessions accordingly.
- Consult with clients before each session to discuss treatment goals, preferences, and any specific areas of concern.
- Administer high-quality massage sessions while ensuring clients’ comfort and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including session notes and client information.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, self-care practices, and exercises to promote overall wellness.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other wellness center professionals to provide holistic care.
- Properly clean, maintain, and ensure the functionality of massage equipment and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Result Area / Performance Goal
- Maintain a CSAT score of at least 95%
- University Degree or Higher Diploma in Social Sciences and Humanities
- A minimum of 2 years post NYSC experience
- Experience in customer services in the hospitality/healthcare industry is an added advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proficiency in various massage modalities and techniques.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
