FRED was founded in 2018. We are a global health and development Non Governmental Organization, focused on improving the growth and development of populations through strengthening governance and democratic processes, conduct of empirical research to generate evidence, advocating for women rights and empowerment and through the implementation of sustainable programs.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Location: Benue

Overview

  • The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will ensure that the project is on track and achieving its goals. The Officer is responsible for designing, monitoring and reporting project results, working with the relevant M&E systems and ensuring that filing process are in place and programme data is well secured.
  • He/She shall provide direct support for real-time reporting of all program activities in the implementation of the APIN aCARES OVC Project in Benue State.
  • He/She shall provide relevant data presentation for FRED in meetings with the donor (APIN) and other stakeholders in the state as regards program monitoring and evaluation, data collection/collation and reporting.
  • He/She shall perform the duties listed below and any other duties required in course of program implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Supports to the PM to Monitor and ensure daily and weekly implementation and documentation of activities on the aCARES OVC Project in the approved forms or tools by APIN.
  • Provide Supports and supervise to ensure daily, weekly and monthly data entry into NOMIS Database.
  • Work with the case managers and Health Facilities, to identify and ensure the enrolment of beneficiaries and saturation of enrolment line list in accordance across the enrolment streams.
  • Carry out periodic analysis, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or as may be required in order to make projections on programme implementation status, challenges/lapses, proffer remediation plan and monitor implementation status.
  • Provide supervisory support to ensure daily, weekly and quarterly update of assessment/reassessment forms, careplan as well as careplan achievement checklist
  • Support the PM to generate the necessary data for quarterly technical brief and success stories submission
  • Ensure the proper documentation of lesson learnt and success stories in the Program
  • Ensure prompt submission of all data reporting templates including the CSO Score Card, Care and Support Templates, reporting and custom indicators templates as well as other templates as may be requested by the funders/FRED from time to time.
  • Work closely with POs and Case Managers to provide technical guidance in setting programme targets and tracking achievement of targets during the course of the program.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and program evaluation visits to communities as stated in the year workplan.
  • Carry out periodic data triangulation and DQAs to ensure data concurrence between the relevant DCTs/Source documents and the NOMIS database.
  • Support the POs to carry out periodic folder audit and household verifications.
