Job Description

Positive Care and Development Foundation (PCDF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare and inclusive development for children with clubfoot and other vulnerable populations across Nigeria. PCDF implements programmes in HIV/OVC, TB
services, clubfoot care, safeguarding, community health promotion, and health systems strengthening.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full time

Role Summary

  • The M&E Officer will support the Project Manager in overseeing MEAL activities of PCDF, ensuring effective use of NOMIS tools and the MIS ensuring timely review and validation of CCW  and CTW data, conducting routine DQAs and supportive supervision, addressing data gaps to improve data quality, and preparing periodic reports in line with donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing the MEAL activities of the CSOs in the implementation and use of the NOMIS tools and MIS.
  • Ensure timely submission of Daily Activity Data as provided by CCCRN SI
  • Support the DEC to review daily submissions of service forms by CCWs
  • The M&E officer shall collect and review all services provision MIS from CCWs before entry
  • Attend to any other responsibility as may be assigned to by h/her supervisor
  • Conduct routine Data Quality Assessments (DQAs), supportive supervision, and on-site data verification.
  • Prepare and submit timely Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in line with Global Fund requirements on the GC7 project
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and reporting delays and implement corrective actions.
  • Strengthen data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and reliability.
  • Conduct on-the-job training on data collection, reporting, and use of M&E tools.
  • Support integration of M&E best practices at sub-national levels.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related field
  • Experience; 4 years’ experience especially working with in NGO
