We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Nurse
Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Position Overview
- As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care, promoting health and well-being, and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare facility.
- The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of nursing care.
Responsibilities
Patient Care:
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Clinical Duties:
- Perform various nursing procedures, including wound care, injections, and IV administration.
- Assist in medical examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with other nurses, physicians, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in patient care conferences and case discussions.
Patient Advocacy:
- Advocate for patients’ rights and ensure that their needs and preferences are considered in the care planning process.
- Report and address any concerns or changes in patients’ conditions promptly.
Education and Training:
- Stay updated on the latest medical advancements and nursing practices.
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs.
- Mentor and support junior nursing staff and students.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 years work experience.
