We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nurse

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

  • As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care, promoting health and well-being, and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare facility.
  • The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities
Patient Care:

  • Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Clinical Duties:

  • Perform various nursing procedures, including wound care, injections, and IV administration.
  • Assist in medical examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Collaborate with other nurses, physicians, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in patient care conferences and case discussions.

Patient Advocacy:

  • Advocate for patients’ rights and ensure that their needs and preferences are considered in the care planning process.
  • Report and address any concerns or changes in patients’ conditions promptly.

Education and Training:

  • Stay updated on the latest medical advancements and nursing practices.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs.
  • Mentor and support junior nursing staff and students.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 years work experience.
