We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nutritionist

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Formulation of Animal Feed:

  • Develop and formulate nutritionally balanced feed recipes based on the nutritional needs of various livestock.
  • Consider factors such as age, weight, species, and health status of animals in the formulation process.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in animal nutrition.

Ingredient Evaluation:

  • Evaluate and select raw materials and ingredients for feed formulation.
  • Ensure the quality and safety of ingredients to meet regulatory standards.
  • Work with suppliers to maintain a consistent supply of high-quality raw materials.

Quality Control:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the consistency and safety of the final feed products.
  • Conduct regular checks on raw materials and finished feed to meet quality standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay informed about local and international regulations related to animal feed and nutrition.
  • Ensure that feed formulations comply with legal requirements and standards.

Research and Development:

  • Engage in ongoing research to improve feed formulations and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with research institutions or universities to contribute to advancements in animal nutrition.

Customer Support:

  • Provide technical support to customers, such as farmers or livestock producers, regarding optimal feeding practices and product usage.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns related to feed quality and nutrition.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with relevant work experience.
