We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Personal Driver to the MD

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Personal Driver will be responsible for navigating through various routes, maintaining the vehicle’s cleanliness and upkeep, and prioritizing the Managing Director’s safety and comfort during travel.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport the Managing Director to and from various locations, including meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of luggage, packages, or other items as required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle, including regular fueling, cleaning, and scheduling maintenance and repairs. Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other necessary services.
  • Stay updated on traffic and weather conditions to ensure timely and efficient travel routes.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, including clear and timely coordination with the Managing Director regarding schedule changes or additional transportation requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding the Managing Director’s activities, conversations, and sensitive information.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of SSCE / WAEC or equivalent is typically required.
  • 1 – 3 years work experience.
  • Previous experience as a professional driver, preferably in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with luxury vehicles or executive transportation is a plus.

Skills:

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and efficient routes.
  • Strong navigational skills and familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
  • Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
