CarePoint is a chain of healthcare facilities dedicated to offering the highest quality of health care services at affordable cost. CarePoint health facilities are situated across several local government and communities in Lagos state, specifically. We currently own two (2) facilities across Lagos and part of our mission is to expand.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacy Storekeeper

Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Summary

  • The store officer under the central store is responsible in requesting, receiving, stocking, shelving and disbursement of Clinical and Consumable Items

Key Result Areas (KRAs)
The key result areas of this role are:

  • Stocking, Disbursing and Requisition of Laboratory, Clinical and Consumable Items

Under strict supervision of the Store Supervisor:

  • Laboratory, Radiology, Occupational health, other Clinical and Consumable Items
  • Making Requisition of Laboratory, Radiology, Occupational health, other Clinical and Consumable Items that has gotten to re-order levels to avoid stock outs.
  • Good arrangement of items on the shelve based on their categories
  • Ensure proper storage and preservation of all Laboratory, Radiology, Occupational health, other Clinical and Consumable Items both on shelf and refrigerator
  • Organize and Disburse Laboratory, Radiology, Occupational health, other Clinical and Consumable Items for internal customers by going through the requisition orders.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all goods receipts and invoiced both on goods received note {GRN} and HMS.
  • Accurate updates of Bin Cards
  • Adherence to re-order levels and re-order quantities of Laboratory, Clinical and Consumable Items.
  • Alert the store supervisor on increment of prices items supplied
  • Deliver appropriate Laboratory, Clinical and Consumable Items supplies in the right quantity to internal customers.

Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure prompt update of bin cards during supplies and disbursement Laboratory, Radiology, Occupational health, other Clinical and Consumable Items
  • Tracking of Laboratory, Radiology, Occupational health, other Clinical and Consumable Items that are not fully supplied.
  • Maintain records by documenting and filing invoices on GRN for audit and user departmental checks and signage.

Inventory:
Under the supervision of the Central Store Supervisor:

  • Maintain Laboratory, Radiology, Occupational health, other Clinical and Consumable Items inventory by checking them to determine inventory level, ensuring First-in-First-Out (FIFO) system is strictly adhered to, anticipating needed requisitions and supplies, and removing outdated items.
  • Daily spot-checking of Laboratory, Clinical and Consumable Items to monitor re-order levels and avoid stock out.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform user departments for stock and policy conformity.

Health and Safety:
Under the supervision of the Central Store Supervisor:

  • Maintain a good housekeeping by complying with Quality, Health and Safety guidelines, rules, and regulations.
  • Adequate understanding of store management workflow
  • Protect employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Maintenance Duties:
Under the supervision of the Supervisor:

  • Monitor expiry date of Laboratory, Radiology, Occupational health, other Clinical and Consumable Items.
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all Laboratory, Radiology, Occupational health, other Clinical and Consumable Items.
  • Regularly clean the refrigerator and monitor the temperature of the refrigerator where cold chain items are kept.

The Person

  • Minimum academic qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or any related Degree.
  • 2 to 5 years relevant work experience preferably in the Health or Service sector.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
  • Outstanding communication (oral and written), interpersonal and people management skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Store Officer – Central Store is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and operate a computer which requires dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects.
  • The person is required to have fine motor skills and visual acuity.
  • The person must also be physically able to lift light objects and engage in constant talking and listening.

Salary
N40,000 – N50,000 Monthly.
