Job Description

The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (formerly Anambra State University) was established in 2000 by the Anambra State Law, No 13, 2000 which was amended as Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Law. 2014. It inherited the assets and liabilities of the defunct Anambra State Polytechnic, Uli and the Anambra State College of Agriculture, Igbariam.

The University strives for excellence and is fast becoming one of the best Universities in Nigeria and is committed to the production of high level manpower and involved in cutting edge research and community service to achieve national development goals with global relevance. Currently, the University has three Campuses in Uli, Igbariam and Awka, with thirteen (13) Faculties and a Teaching Hospital.

The Governing Council of the University is recruiting to fill the position below in the Physical Planning Unit:

Job Title: Principal Engineer

Location: Anambra

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc or B.Engr. in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized University and shall be registered with the Council for the regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
  • Must be a full member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and with 9 years post qualification cognate experience.

Salary Grade
CONUNASS 11
