Job Description

Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Programmer

Location: Lagos / Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and communicate critical paths for tech roadmaps and product development
  • Understand business requirements and offer various options for realizing business objectives
  • Develop core functionality and new features for the ULedger blockchain.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Math or related technical discipline, and/or strong experience as a core developer for a Layer 1 blockchain protocol
  • 5+ years professional software development experience
  • 2+ years experience with P2P networks
  • Proficient in C++, Rust, and/or GoLang
  • Comfortable with Linux
  • Expertise in at least 3 of the following areas: cybersecurity, multithreaded architecture, networking communication protocols, microservice architecture, distributed development, database management, advanced cryptography, performance optimization, operations research.

Primary Skills:

  • B.Sc. Computer Sc./in a related field.
