We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are seeking a professional to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery in alignment with client specifications, regulatory standards, and quality requirements.
  • The role involves translating engineering designs into practical on-site solutions while applying strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of project workflows, construction methodologies, multidisciplinary engineering principles, and work delivery coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all engineering activities throughout the project lifecyclefrom FEED to commissioning and handover ensuring designs meet international standards and project specifications. Lead the development, review, and integration of multidisciplinary engineering deliverables, providing technical assurance, risk management, and interface coordination among teams, vendors, and contractors. Support procurement, construction, and commissioning through technical evaluations, field support, and design modifications. Monitor project progress, manage cost and schedule adherence, and drive continuous improvement. Utilize advanced engineering and project management tools (AutoCAD, SmartPlant, Primavera P6, etc.) to ensure technical excellence, compliance, and seamless project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree is an advantage.
  • Must be a COREN registered Engineer.
  • Must have PMP Certification from PMI
  • 5-7 years of experience in Project Management out of which 3 years would have been in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Proficient in coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Solid grasp of process engineering principles
  • Familiar with major project execution models
  • Interface management in brownfield and greenfield environments.
