We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • We seek a dynamic professional who will be responsible for organizing, planning, executing and closing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources, maintain clear and consistent communication with both the internal resources and the third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, involving relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and effective allocation.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using suitable systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects.

  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Negotiation and Conflict Resolution:

  • Ability to negotiate with stakeholders and resolve conflicts within the project team.
  • Diplomatic and tactful in handling sensitive issues.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Microsoft Project).
  • Understanding of project management best practices and industry standards.

Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Ability to develop and manage project budgets.
  • Understanding of financial principles and cost management techniques.

Risk Management:

  • Ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Knowledge of risk management techniques and tools.

Quality Management:

  • Understanding of quality management principles and practices.
  • Ability to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
  • Professional qualification in Project Management (PMP, Prince2) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7years of proven work experience as an IT Project Manager.
  • Domain knowledge in the oil and gas industry is an added advantage
