We are working to create a world where cooking positively impacts all life on earth by producing the world’s most efficient biomass, liquid fuel, and electric cookstoves. Job Description
- We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Quality Assurance Department within the Quality Engineer. In keeping with our growing business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Position Summary
- Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, the individual will be responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements.
- This individual will be tasked with measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests, and identifying defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the technical documents required for production meet document control and revision requirements.
- Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects to mitigate and prevent recurrence and future defects.
- Identify root causes of problems in the production process; recommend and/or implement corrective measures.
- Conduct an audit on jigs, tools, and equipment to ensure they are calibrated and up to date.
- Ensure that products meet the organization, customers’ quality, and product integrity requirements.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in conducting process audits under QMS will be an added advantage.
- 1-2 years experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.
