Job Description

The Nigerian Army University Biu, Borno State; is a conventional University and currently has five faculties as follows: Faculty of Engineering Technology, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, and Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Science.

Applications are invited for the position below:

Job Title: Reader (CONUASS 6)

Location: Biu, Borno
Faculty: Engineering

Description
We are in need of Readers in the following Departments:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical / Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Material and Metallurgical Engineering
  • Structural Engineering

Qualifications
Candidates for Reader must possess the following:

  • Doctorate degree from a recognized University
  • Minimum of ten (10) years cognate teaching and research experience
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) publications in reputable journals
  • Evidence of mentoring and postgraduate supervision
  • Fellowship or Membership of relevant professional bodies
