We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: SCM Strategy Management Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Position type: Full-Time

Job Summary

  • The SCM Strategy Management Supervisor shall lead & coordinate the SCM activities around procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analysing data or insights to determine industry and Market trends regarding Supply chain Management.
  • Formulate a strategic long-term plan for the Supply chain in consultation with internal business teams, Contractors, regulators, JV partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market intelligence, innovations, opportunities, and trends within Supply chain Management. And formulate appropriate contracting, sourcing strategies, and contract management methods to enhance value.
  • Execute sourcing events in line with approved governance standards and practices within the oil and gas industry.
  • Lead category ranging, pricing, spend management, and promotions across channels.
  • Issue in line with approved protocol, and appropriate orders to ensure product availability meets standards.
  • Lead category management projects to optimize ranges and related procurements.
  • Collaborate with buyers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to expand product categories.
  • Forecast and Plan product and service demand to ensure sustainability of inventory and service availability.
  • Developing strong working relationships with buyers, marketers, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with contract and procurement governance process.
  • Support all aspects of warehousing and material management including fulfillment, transactional quality, inventory accuracy, productivity, and logistics.
  • Ensure operational excellence through all phases of material movement and storage.

Educational Qualifications and Other Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering or Science or Business Management
  • 8+ years of experience in Upstream O&G Contract Management
  • MCIPS Certification is an advantage
  • Demonstrate a robust understanding of contracting and procurement process, supplier relationship management, and market/industry trend
  • Mastery of knowledge of Nigerian upstream contracting processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Skilled in the use of Oracle ERP.
  • Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional and disciplinary team
  • Exemplify a strong attention to detail
  • Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
  • Strong experience in petroleum agreements and working with regulators e.g. NIUMS, NCDMB and NUPRC
  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information.
  • Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities
