We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We require the services of a Professional Accountant to oversee its Accounting, Finance and Internal controls functions.

Job Brief

  • The ideal candidate must be a seasoned professional, preferably with hands on & verifiable experience in the group accounting that will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Key functions

  • Manage all Accounting functions including Advisory, Cost Accounting and proper Revenue Recognition
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare timely monthly financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting & statutory audit.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Requirements

  • Must a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Must be a chartered Accountant.
  • Have verifiable work experience in same or similar roles for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in use & interaction with accounting software
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate excellently in English.

Remuneration
Salary is attractive and according to Industry Standard.
