Job Title: Spraying Supervisor

Job Overview

• As a Spraying Supervisor at Taeillo, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the spraying unit within the furniture production process to ensure the timely and high-quality production of furniture items. You will lead a team of factory workers, manage resources, and collaborate with other departments to meet production targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture manufacturing, spraying, and excellent leadership skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources.
• Coordinate with the planning team to ensure efficient use of materials and production capacity.
• Lead and supervise production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality furniture items.
• Conduct regular inspections and collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the production workflow.
• Implement best practices to enhance productivity while maintaining product quality.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively, including materials, machinery, and manpower. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Provide training to production staff on safety procedures, quality standards, and new manufacturing processes.
• Support the professional development of team members through ongoing training initiatives.
• Enforce and promote a culture of safety within the production facility.
• Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate production goals, targets, and expectations to the team.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as design, sales, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that production equipment is well maintained and functioning optimally.
• Schedule and oversee routine equipment inspections and maintenance activities.
• Generate regular production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to upper management.
• Analyse production data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Building Technology, Manufacturing, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience in furniture manufacturing/ spraying (vehicle or furniture) with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of furniture production processes, materials, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in the use of production management software and tools.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
