Overview

  • The Deputy Sales Head is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business growth and profitability. This role involves managing the sales of bakery and flour-related products, driving revenue through B2B and B2C channels, and fostering strong customer relationships.
  • The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the bakery, flour, and food processing industry, along with a strong background in sales leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure consistent and profitable sales growth through effective planning, deployment, and management of sales personnel.
  • Establish and oversee effective sales programs, including compensation, coaching, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the bakery, flour, and related industries.
  • Monitor stock levels and align with business forecasts and sales plans.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate professional development programs.
  • Prepare and manage sales budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with a strong background in B2B sales within the bakery, flour, or related food processing industries.
  • Exposure to B2C sales, brand management, and marketing of consumer food products.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership, business development, and team management.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria and West Africa as required.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
